The City of Everson, Washington is home to approximately 2,750 residents.
We are surrounded by rich agricultural soils, snow covered peaks and located only 30 minutes northeast of Bellingham WA and 10 minutes south of the Canadian border.




Smoking/Vaping/Tobacco Use Prohibited in Public Parks & Trails

The Everson City Council passed Ordinance 787-17 prohibiting smoking and tobacco use (including electronic cigarettes, vapor cigarettes, or similar products) in public parks and trails within Everson City Limits. A full copy of the ordinance is available here. Sections 12.08.115 and 12.08.160 were added to the Everson Municipal Code establishing guidelines and penalties. Please see EMC 12.08 for all regulations regarding Public Parks.

Penalty: First Offense - Civil infraction maximum penalty of $250.00. Second Offense - Simple misdemeanor maximum penalty of $1,000 or imprisonment not to exceed 90 days or by both fine and imprisonment.
