Governor’s proclamation deems nearly all construction as non-essential
The City of Everson announced today that it has identified nearly all construction as non-essential in compliance with Governor Jay Inslee’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” statewide stay-at-home order. The City has issued a Mayoral Directive regarding essential building construction and accompanying inspections.
The City Hall office is closed to the public but avaliable via phone or appointment. Call 360-966-3411. All City Parks are closed for the time being. Thank you for your cooperation. Please see a letter to the community from Mayor Perry.
Per the Supreme Court Emergency Order, The Everson-Nooksack Municipal Court will be cancelled 3/26, 4/9 and 4/23. If you had a court date scheduled for one of those dates, we will be contacting you to reschedule. If you have questions, call Rhonda at 360-966-3411 ext. 1200.
Garden plots available at Ramstead Park (old golf course property). You can sign up now. Plots are $20 per year with a $20 deposit. Free access to both hand and power tools! Nooksack Valley Disposal's Annual Spring Clean Up Day has been scheduled for Saturday, April 11th at City of Everson Strandell Shop, Robinson St. Bring your bulky items, furniture, applicances, scrap metal etc. Charge will be to cover the cost of disposal only. There will be no woodchipper this year but NVD will have a yard waste bin avaliable. Any questions, call 360-354-3400.
